BLS certification for healthcare providers
Basic Life Support at Safety First Training is an American Red Cross class for healthcare providers and professional rescuers. It is blended and available anytime: complete the online portion, then we schedule the skills session.
Who it is for
Use BLS if a hospital, clinic, EMS agency, or nursing program asked for a healthcare-provider card. Workplace CPR and foster-parent CPR are different classes.
The public catalog does not currently list an American Heart Association BLS course. The bookable BLS class is American Red Cross.
Groups
Clinics and rescue teams can request a private BLS class. Group BLS starts at $200. On-site group classes are free to bring to you inside the travel radius from Georgetown. Past that radius, one flat fee is added to the group, not charged per person.
